You can request account deletion here without reinstalling the app.
Request deletion by email
Email support@hcgm.in with the subject “Delete my account” from your registered email. Include your username or linked phone number. If you cannot access your registered email, tell us so we can verify ownership another way. Do not send your password or OTP.
Request account deletionRequests are handled within 30 days after ownership verification. Sending an email starts a request; it does not instantly delete your account.
Delete directly in the app
Open Profile → Security → Delete account, read the information and confirm. Deletion normally completes immediately. If an error occurs, retry or email support.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in account, profile details, linked participants, competition registrations and results, notification history, preferences, and device push tokens. This cannot be undone. Download any receipts you need first.
What is retained
Committee donation records and issued receipts are retained separately for accounting and legal obligations. Security and administrative audit records may also be retained for fraud prevention and accountability. These records are restricted to authorized committee staff and are not an active app account. A minimal account identifier and deletion status are kept to prevent old sessions or delayed events from restoring your account. Backup copies expire under the hosting provider’s backup retention schedule.
