Terms of use
Using the community festival app and participating in committee events.
The service
Hindu Colony Ganeshotsav is operated by the Hindu Colony Ganeshotsav organising committee. The app provides festival information, competition registration, updates, results, and access to committee donation records and receipts.
Your account
Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. Do not impersonate someone else, misuse another person’s information, or interfere with the service. You are responsible for obtaining permission before registering another participant, including guardian authorization for a child.
Competition participation
Each competition’s published rules, age groups, schedule, registration deadline and eligibility requirements apply. Registration does not guarantee a prize. Changes after a deadline may be restricted. Contact the committee about errors or disputes. The organising committee runs the competitions; Apple and Google are not sponsors and are not involved in them.
Donations and receipts
The app displays donations recorded by the committee and does not accept payments. Contact support@hcgm.in with the receipt number, donation date and amount if a record is missing or incorrect. Retain copies of receipts you need before deleting your account.
Content and availability
Use committee content only with the appropriate permission. We may update event information or interrupt the service for maintenance. We aim to keep information accurate; contact us if you find an error. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable law.
Privacy and closing your account
Our privacy policy explains data collection, permissions and retention. You can permanently delete your account in Profile → Security → Delete account. A deletion request can also be emailed to support@hcgm.in. Account deletion does not erase committee financial records that must be retained separately.
